May Meeting – Recap!

This past Thursday we had our May meeting which was a book discussion of “Craft, Inc.”, by Meg Mateo Ilasco.

If you remember from last month’s meeting, everyone in attendance was inspired by Elaine’s presentation on goal setting to set some goals to be completed by the next time we met.   To start off this meeting we went around and compared how we had done.   Many people found that knowing they were going to be held accountable by the group helped motivate them to get things done!

For the book talk everyone was given a question to answer about their experience with the book, and we all enjoyed the discussions that each question opened up to the group.  Even people that weren’t able to read the book before the meeting had the chance to learn from the group’s experiences and share their opinions!  What books would you like to see us discuss in the future?

At the end of this meeting we once again all set a business-related goal to complete by the next time we meet in June!  What will your goal for the month of May be?

Please join us next month when we welcome Ebony Love of LoveBug Studios!  She will present a talk entitled Make Money, Not Stuff.  Ebony Love is an award-winning quilter, designer, and video educator.  You can read more about her company at:
